Michael Lee Aday, ( born Marvin Lee Aday) Meat Loaf passed away at the age of 74.
Michael Lee Aday (born Marvin Lee Aday, September 27, 1947 – January 20, 2022), known professionally as Meat Loaf, was an American singer and actor. He was noted for his powerful, wide-ranging voice and theatrical live shows.Meat Loaf, had a spectacular rock music career that spanned six decades. The rockstar left behind his wife Deborah, whom he married in 2007, and his two daughters Pearl and Amanda, whom he shared with his ex-wife Leslie Aday. Following his tragic death, Meat Loaf’s surviving family issued a statement confirming the news of his passing on the star’s Facebook page.
“Our hearts are broken to announce that the incomparable Meat Loaf passed away tonight with his wife Deborah by his side. Daughters Pearl and Amanda and close friends have been with him throughout the last 24 hours..We know how much he meant to so many of you and we truly appreciate all of the love and support as we move through this time of grief in losing such an inspiring artist and beautiful man. So, how did Meat Loaf die? While no official cause of death has been shared, TMZ reported that sources with knowledge of the moments leading up to Meat Loaf’s passing claimed that he was “seriously ill” with COVID-19 before his death.
