1965: Dave Lombardo, great drummer with Slayer, was born in Havana, Cuba.
1972: Led Zeppelin made their Australian debut with the first of six concerts at the Subiaco Oval in Perth.
1985: Bruce Springsteen moved to #1 in the U.K. with the album Born in the U.S.A.
1991: Queen, which was always bigger in their native England, scored their seventh #1 album in the U.K. with Innuendo.
1993: Megadeth‘s killer tune “Sweating Bullets” was released. It was the third single from Megadeth’s fifth and one of the most popular albums, “Countdown to Extinction”.
1993: Lynyrd Skynyrd release The Last Rebel, the band's seventh album, on which Kurt Custer appears for his first time and guitarist Randall Hall for his last.
2005: 3 Doors Down topped the charts with their third album, Seventeen Days.
