1944: Rock and roll guitarist Mick Green (of Johnny Kidd & the Pirates) is born in Matlock, Derbyshire, England.
1956: A handsome singer with a great voice first was heard on the radio this week as he debuted on the chart with his first single- Elvis Presley and "Heartbreak Hotel".
1958: Dave “The Beast” Spitz songwriter and bassist with several groups including Great White and Black Sabbath, was born in the Forest Hills neighborhood in the borough of Queens in New York City.
1964: Meet the Beatles! was #1 on the Album chart for the second week
1965: Filming for the Beatles' second movie, "HELP!" began in the Bahamas.
