1966: Jerry Cantrell, singer, songwriter and elite guitarist of Alice In Chains, was born in Tacoma, Washington.
1967: Pink Floyd signed a recording contract with EMI Records.
1968: The Beatles released the single "Lady Madonna".
1976: The Man Who Fell To Earth, starring David Bowie, premieres in London.
1977: The Clash's first single "White Riot" was released.
1994: The Rolling Stones announced that Darryl Jones was going to be the replacement for Bill Wyman. Wyman had announced that he would no longer be touring with the band.
